Who is God…?

Who is God? Is he only the creator of heaven and earth?

Is earth the greatest creation of God?

No, earth is the creation our God loves the most. He has chosen to stay in the hearts of men – to let his spirit live among men that accept and honor him with their praises and worship because he finds great delight in men that love him.

What is your size O God? Are you small or big, tall or short, black or white? Does it really matter what you look like to except what you do?

What is your body made of my God? It is a spirit, a cloud or fire? Even angels don’t know enough about you; they are still amazed at your power, your might, your glory, your wisdom and love for what you have created. Though you’ve made them stay before you and serve you, their bodies still melt at the fullness of your glory, their minds challenged at the great abilities of your power, even how deep your love for mankind goes.

Men are in thousands; angels are in thousands, spirits are in thousands, but even without surveying the entire universe, you know you know each of them by name and voice.

How big is your memory O God that you know everything about the beginning of everything and the end of it? My God, we are only men, with a life so limited by time and the weaknesses of out body on this planet, have mercy on us, even for our lusts, and let our spirits see your glory on that day.

You’ve made spirit see what men can’t see, and angel with a lot of revelations, yet still, we are all amazed by your glory, even by the revelations you have exposed from time to time.

Angels are holy and spirits are shift, but you O God are their judge. Spirits are shift, but you O God will arrest them and bring them to your judgment; and, how about man? We only need your mercies O God, because we are too weak and foolish to plead with you.

For all my life; through these youthful days, and in my grey days: I will honor your greatness with my worship and praise.

All Things Glorify God…

Look how mysterious the Lord our god is!

Who can fully describe his work in his creation?

The Lord our God is indeed mysterious. He made the strongest men dancers and the weak ones among me soldiers, and they win battles and conquer nations. He gives a tree with shallow roots a long life, and those trees with deep roots dry even in the rainy season.

He gives a poor man peace and happiness while rich men sleep awake, socked and overwhelmed by worries.

He gives insects the wisdom to store food in season and have enough out of season; isn’t it amazing that insects with so short a life can determine seasons? Yet, men in their knowledge will lack food and die of hunger, even in season!

The Lord makes the names of those that once very despised highly honored and remembered from one generation to another.

He gives the weak ones in his creation the wisdom to build their homes far enough that their enemies and predators won’t destroy them; look and the insects, they make their homes deep down in the ground, and look at the birds, they build high enough that cats and man won’t easily reach them, even in thorny trees that they will fill safe at all times.

Our God has exalted human wisdom, knowledge and understanding to be higher than that of all other creatures, and he has also given him the authority to manage the rest of his creation on earth.

With his sharp eyes and great understanding, our God will judge intensions and thoughts; he alone can see that far in all men. He looks deep in the spirits of men, and grants them the silent desires of their hearts. He corrects the minds that can have gone wrong in the way they think.

He has given life to words, even to his blessings in the lives of men that they will see growth, multiplication and increase. Our God is good!

The Lord, the Creator…

My people! You who I chosen to know me; you that I have called by name.

How I love to see you worship me! How I love to here you voices when you praise me in the congregation!

But, I hate to here you complain before me; when you speak and treat me like am not a just and kind God; when you talk like you don’t know me at all!

Don’t you know that I the Lord you God do not lie? Don’t you know that I fulfill my promises? Isn’t Abraham happy?

I the Lord your God, I am the only God worth every creature’s worship, because the earth and the heavens and all that are in them belong to me, yes, I am they Lord and creator. I created the whole earth and all that is in it belongs to me: I set the time when any creature is born to its mother, even the time when it should give up its soul.

I give a bonus of days to men and women that please me, and I destroy proud people; the stubborn people that do not worship me. I take the life of people that disobey me, even before their pre-determined time.

My mind and plan towards your life is not changed by anything else except your obedience and disobedience. Good deeds will please me while evil deeds will stir my anger. I the Lord you God, am the author of life and time. I rule over the world with justice and mercy, yes, I rule the world with love.

My blessings will come upon those that please me, and in due time I will punish those who have no regard for me; I’ll not hold back my anger and curses – I will punish them and teach the world that I am the Lord and creator.

The Love of Christ…

Ooh, how I wish the Lord’s spirit would reveal to us the depth, the width, the length and the height of the love of Christ for the children of men that have accepted him and freely chosen to believe in him.

There is a mystery about the love of Christ, which if not revealed to us will leave us still living according to the flesh, according to the rules that govern this world; in sin. Discovering the mystery of the love of Christ will alone deliver you from the hands of the enemy, even from his tricks and traps.

If this mystery is revealed to you, it will change your thinking, speech and actions, you can’t go wrong! After the greatest sacrifice ever made by a King, the creator of heaven and earth for mankind; how then do you find it hard to forgive someone for material things? Especially after blood and life has been lost to redeem your own blood and life.

How I wish the mystery of the love of Christ would be revealed to all believers in Christ; we would all know how valuable it is for us to love one another; loving one another is our strength, an indication that our hearts, minds and spirits have been put together with Christ.

There is nothing more pleasant to God than a complete love; it is the greatest form of faith, and it takes wisdom, patience and most of all the spirit of God to make it complete: let us go after love.

A Prayer for Forgiveness…

Forgive me O Lord in this prayer if any word or phrase offends you; I want you to know that I love you very much, far more than I loved you in those childhood and teen days when I didn’t know enough about you. I have never preferred Satan to you, even though my ways have not been perfect before you.

Your ways have always been the ways in which I take delight, even though I have many times been over powered by the ambitions and lusts of youthfulness.

But I thank you for your goodness; for your love for me; and for your abundant mercies. With your forgiveness, you have covered all my wrongs, you have embraced me with your love and kept me in your arms with your endless mercies; am now sure enough that I’ll be in your arms forever.

And because you’ve loved me, I pray that you’ll forgive me and forget all my youthful sins forever; and that even in my old days, nothing will cause your hand to punish me for my youthful sins, not even the devil’s tricky and provocative speech that he used before you, in the congregation of your holy angels in the days of Job – your faithful and successful servant.

Let your mighty angels keep Satan’s hands far away from your children, but let your spirit teacher them with his gentle and loving voice of authority; let his wisdom be there delight – give them obedient hearts that you’ll take great pleasure in what you have redeemed with your great sacrifice of love.

Teach me your ways O Lord, don’t stop until my spirit comes to you. Who has learnt enough from our God? Be careful and don’t let your pride burry you; our God cant not be fully known, not even by the angels!

A Real Life, a Real Me…

Though my face may look pleasant to you, I am not a boy; I am a man. Though am merry and I speak words of courage and hope, there are times when I my spirit has been low, very low.

Tough I may seem strong to you, there are times when I’ve wished there is someone to hold me, someone to tell me “… it’s going to be alright!”

There are times when I’ve cried; there are times when I’ve been very sad; there are times when I been lonely, lonely with no one to talk to except the God and father I don’t see – he has really been their for me.

I have failed; I’ve been very disappointed and embarrassed; I have been betrayed, although you admire my faith. I have been very discouraged, abandoned and neglect, although today you see so many people around me, but God has been there with me through it all.

The Lord, my God, has been my teacher; he has taught me to be what you like about me – and I am still learning. The Lord has been my trainer: he has held my hands and taught them to do right; he has taught my brain how to think right – he has been there with me; he is my trainer.

Though I look young to you, yes my age is an age of young people, but look into my eyes, my experiences have taught me confidence – I am fearless, and am not shy to do or say right. Listen to my words; I have learnt from the best, my God. I have learnt from every opportunity, in every experience and so I speak wisdom and godly words.

I have foolishness, but I’ve been foolish many times; I hate ignorance, but ignorance is eternal – you can know everything, , but learn how to choose right from wrong, just from unjust, good from bad, righteous from evil, godly from ungodly.

I may seem very courageous to you, but the many discouragements I have had have taught me how to stay courageous and hopeful at all times. There are no walls in life is you put your hope in the Lord, the creator of heaven and earth.

As I Remember…

Our father and God, we thank you for this day; words aren’t enough to express our gratefulness. You alone can tell how worse our lives should have been if we hadn’t known you, accepted you, loved you and trusted you with our lives.
How deep would we have gone in those days of trouble and lack without you O Lord? Only you can our anchor can answer; you ran to our rescue even when we were ignorant about the intensions of the evil one – you saw everything, never waited for us to pray or call, and you defended and supported us, yes, you fought all our battles alone.
As I remember,
And compare the times that have passed
To the times we are in
I see the mighty of your hands
And glory of your works,
And I say glory, glory be to God
O glory, glory (glory) be to God…

My joy and amazement can neither be expressed in words or tears, I don’t have enough ways to say thank you, yet I can’t stop saying am grateful for what you’ve done for us.
Everyday in your presence was a day in the arms of my defender, a day on the table of my father, yes, a day in the forts of the almighty Lord of hosts; the mighty warrior, were my enemies could not reach and harm me, not even the spiritual evil one.
Today, I see everything that happened in the past days and years like a dream, a terrible dream, but because you carried me through, I have woken up a victor in and through you; am not worried to sleep again, am only grateful because you’ll be glorified again and, am courageous because you’ll be with me. To you our God be the glory, honor and praise from all men in all nations forever. Amen.

Forgive us and Make Peace…

O Lord, My God! Have I not known you to be a merciful God? Haven’t you forgiven even those that destroyed and robbed your temple? Haven’t you forgiven even those that disgraced your innocent child and shared his clothes in his sight?

Look at us O Lord, look at this poor nation of in Africa; look at Uganda. Forgive us O lord, forgive us for the blood of you people; the blood of the children of Abraham that was shaded in our land.

Cleanse the soil of this nation with your mercies and love, and forget all that upset you about us; forgive us our passed ambitious leaders. Forgive us because of the foolishness, wickedness, ignorance and ungodliness of our leaders.

Don’t punish the whole country because a single man or group of men; look at these thousands that will suffer because of or under your wrath, because of one man’s evil thought, even because of one man’s arrogance and unproductive ambitiousness.

Bless our nation O Lord, bless our land. Let the children of Abraham know that it was never a wish of all people in our land to offend them. Let them know about our apologies before you, their God, even about the love and pride we have in them.

Unite us O God, unite us with your chosen people of Israel. Let us come together; let us share a table and make peace. Hold back your anger upon and bless our land. Let our children and grand children be able to eat from our land peacefully.

Forgive us for the anger we stirred in you thoughts and the hatred we stirred in your heart, and choose honest, humble, wise and godly men and women among our citizens to be our leaders: appoint among us the men that are faithful to their service to this nation to be our leader, those that have love for this nation; the same that treasure the peace and friendship that is always going to be their between Uganda and Israel your beloved nation.

Let all nations worship you; let all nations praise you, now and forever. Amen.

Make Peace with Israel…

“Am I not God, the creator of Heaven and Earth? I have made it known for many generations, and to all men, in all nations that I have chosen Israel to be my own. Who can accuse me for that? Not even Moses or Joshua; they are happy because Abraham, their father is happy.

The children of Jacob are my children; I married them as my bride through the covenant I made with their father Abraham, and I have blessed them, fed them and defended them with my own hand.

Though I punish them for their wrongs, don’t laugh and rejoice at their pain because your day is coming: cry with them and laugh with them and rejoice in all that is pleasant to their eyes, and you’ll see my blessing at all times.

Make peace with Israel, make peace with Israel all you that have declared yourselves enemies of my people, and I the Lord, the creator of the universe will be at peace with you and I’ll bring peace within your boundaries. I am the God who examines the hearts and minds of men therefore make straight your thoughts; you can’t hide anything from me, not even a single intension.

As sure as I am the Lord, the creator of heaven and earth, and Israel my people, all enemies of Israel will fall, yes, I will punish them for their curses and mocking upon my people. The enemies of my people are my enemies, and those who love them shall see my salvation.

In the day of my wrath, I will stretch my hand upon my enemies, the enemies of Israel, and they’ll know that I love those that I love and hate those that I hate. Make people with my people; make peace with the children of Abraham and your governments will prosper.”

Do not Punish us O Lord…

Don’t punish us O lord, we are very ignorant!

Don’t kill us; don’t let us die in this ignorance. Just teach us my God; teach us because we are your children. Treat us with your great mercies and compassion because we are very foolish. Look how shameful our thoughts and actions are; we even still fight our battles like they are battles against flesh and blood!

Our mighty warrior and father, aren’t you the Lord of hosts? Teach us how to fight the good fight of faith; how to take victory over the flesh through training and strengthening our spirits.

Don’t let us die in foolishness and ignorance; for there is no glory for you in that, but pour unto us your spirit and give us hearts of flesh – obedient hearts, that you will take great pleasure in us.

Don’t judge us O Lord, because we are not worth your righteous judgment; we are to weak to learn from your punishments and endure your educative pains. Open our hearts and minds, wide like the sea, plain like the African deserts, and scoop out all the evils within and create within us the thoughts and desires that give you glory.

Examine everything within our heart and minds help us grow from childishness to spiritual maturity, from foolishness and ignorance to profitable and glorious wisdom and knowledge forever.

All our earthly fathers are proud when they see their children growing up, especially to be wise, important; to be resourceful people, but then, how will a father, even you O Lord, take pleasure in foolish and ignorant grown-up children?

Don’t let us be a shame upon you; don’t let us disgrace you when we identify ourselves as your children O Lord. Don’t let us stay a reproach upon you by evil men forever when you have all it takes to make us the people you want us to be; a people that will glorify your name in all ways possible to mankind.

Like you’ve always been our God, don’t stop today, don’t deny us; even today be our God and create in us a personality with characters that glorify your name, but don’t punish us father.

I am the Strength of my People…

The Lord love all that believe in him; he treasures all that accept him and confess their faith in him in all the things they do. The Lord our God will not give up on all that love him; he will fight for them; he will defend them; he will prove to any one that he is their God.

And now, this is what the spirit of the Lord says to all mankind, “When I look into the heart of people I see those that love me and those that hate me. I hate those that hate me, and their days will be full of pain without mercy: they will complain, even call my name – the name they once despised and rubbished, and I will hear but I won’t help.

O, how I love those that love me; I will open my arms and receive them on that day, and in their days I will stay with them through all challenges; I will come close to them and put ears closer to their mouth and listen to all their cries, needs and complaints, and I will show them favor.
I will open their hearts, examine them and find the things that they desire most and I will give them in plenty, yes, I love to see those that love me happy. I will look through their hearts and see those that they love most and the things that they treasure and I will protect and defend them.”

“I the Lord, the God of the universe, I am a jealousy God: I take great pleasure in punishing my enemies, the enemies of my people. Yes, I take great pleasure in destroying those that hate me; I love to see them cry in their times of trouble because I know that their gods can’t do anything; they can’t even defend themselves, but I the Lord, I am the only God. My strength is not in my people, even before the world was, I was God. I am the strength of my people; I stretch my mighty hand and save them, they are my people.”

Love for the Young Ones…

Aren’t you amazed by the kind of love mother animals have for their young ones? A wise man will look at a goat and its kid, and tell whether it is happy or not.

A goat will become restless when its young one goes far away from its sight, and if the kid refuses to follow its mother along the way, the mother will cry and call, until the young one responds, and many times got back to pick it, yes, its heart will remain restless until the kid does what she wants it to do or until it is in its presence.

A hen, a great lover of its young ones will cover its chicks under its wings; she will gather them all under her wings for protection and warmth. She won’t rest until all its young ones have eaten and learnt how to find food for them selves – she won’t stop teaching.

A dark will fight for the life of each of her young ones; though she moves as if she is heavy, she can run after anything just to see her young ones are safe. Do you want me to tell you how a lioness behaves with her young ones?

Both animals and man are pleased to see their children healthy, obedient, strong and safe. “I the Lord, I have taught them to do so from the beginning of time. How much more then, am I pleased with men and women that obey me? With all my strength, I the Lord their God will ensure that they are healthy, strong, safe and satisfied. I am God”

God; a Loving Father…

Like a father, God wants us to make him proud. The Lord loves to see us follow the way he has tested confirmed to be right and taught us without holding back any truth.

A god father teaches his sons and daughters many things about the ways of life, and the Lord, our father, has held back nothing. He takes pleasure in seeing life treat his children fairly because they listen to is counsel, learn from each message and obey with understanding.

Our good father and God is a good teacher; a good trainer of the heart, mind, body and spirit. The Lord never gives up on the humble and obedient; he enjoys the hope he sees in the patient – those who wait up on him with an optimistic mind; he rewards them awesomely.

With a deep and great fatherly heart and mind, the Lord our God is our defender. He fights our battles, even the battles we don’t know about: this moves me! He challenges the devil’s accusations with his great love and mercy.

He insists that we should love one another because we are his children, and he gives us time to discover the secret of loving one another. With great love for on another, the evil one will not prevail among us – his fruits are easily identified because they never preach and perfect true love: in love they can’t stand the tastes of time.

Our God and father; our defender is a mighty soldier, a loving father.

The Lord will Command Respect…

The Lord takes great pleasure in people that honor him; he is happy with any one that acknowledges him alone as God of the universe.

But, in time, the Lord will make any one that dishonors him a laughing stock: you can speak anything foolish against the Lord and take pleasure in provoking him, yes, take advantage of his patience, but his day is coming when he will let the world know that you own nothing in this world, neither what you call your property, your wife and children nor even your own body.

In those days, he will let those you laughed with laugh at you, and through your pain he will command respect amongst all the people around you.

Worship the Lord, the creator in the days when you have more energy than you can spend, and he will protect you from many things that people fear most.

Don’t fear you enemies at al times, but let the Lord your God know about everything that troubles your heart and he will stand with you, yes, he will defend you. The Lord our God won’t hold back anything from those who worship him in spirit and truth; he will defend them with all his might, and even though it means leaving his heavenly glory just to let you know that he is faithful to his word, he will do it for your safety.

What won’t end in this world? We don’t even fully know God’s eternal purpose for man, yet all we know is that there is not a single thing that will last in life except if it is fully held firm by the Lord our God. Give the Lord the pleasures of his heart and he will grant you your desires.

My Trust in the Lord…

I have put my trust in the Lord and nothing will scare me; my confidence is in the Lord, my God; the creator of heaven and earth. Neither yesterday, today, tomorrow nor the unknown future will scare me because the author of time and all that operate in it is on my side.

He says he has good thoughts and plans for me, therefore I won’t be troubled because in all things, through all things I will find happiness, peace, victory and satisfaction. I know little about my God but it is all good. He created me without my consent, so I will not worry about my death, not even were my soul and spirit will rest after this life – I have trust him with what he owns.

I will not worry when I feel weak within my body because my body is his temple, his resting place, and as I take care of my house so shall he more than take care of his shelter; the Lord himself is the origin of my life. I’ll put all my trust in the Lord my God without doubting him at all.

I will rely on him for my protection and provision, because in him my heart and spirit find a peaceful rest, happiness and complete satisfaction. Those who don’t love the Lord are worthless; those who don’t worship and praise him are in deep trouble – the day is coming when he will use nature to punish them.

A wise man and woman will run to the side of the only right and true creator of the universe; he alone is strong enough to defend himself, even against time. Whatever I do, in all that I am; I will worship the Lord my God with all my energy, and I’ll put my trust in him alone.

The Greatness of our God…

The Lord our God is a great God!

Who is like our God, except for those he has called his own?

Who can challenge the God I know as my god?

From the beginning of time, all through the generations, he alone has defended his position as our Lord, the creator of heaven and earth, and all that are in them. With his eternal wisdom, the Lord has made seasons for sawing and harvesting, but all time for praising and worshiping him. He made seasons for different types of fruits and cereals, yet his protection, provision and love in our lives is always their.

Our God challenges all natural wisdom and knowledge when he defends us from enemies we don’t see. For generations man has invented many things, but even the wises and most knowledgeable of men, even the most honored, the richest, the most powerful, except for stubbornness and disobedience; all of them acknowledge the presence of a powerful God.

The powerful God is on my side; the mighty God is on the side of those that love him through doing what is right and pleasant to him. He will defend those who stand for what he says, and for the proud, he will pour great fear on their death beds.

The Lord’s love, provision and protection are always their; his mercies have no season, but a time will come when he will reward the obedient and punish the disobedient.

The Lord our god is the creator of everything beneath, on and above the earth, yes, he owns them all and no other can claim them from this influence; yet his greatest desire and pleasure is to see men and women worship him in spirit and truth. As for me and my house, we will give the Lord our God what he desires most from people, we will give him his greatest pleasure.

The Lord’s Mercy and Judgment…

The Lord is very merciful; our God is really merciful to us! He consumes all our evils under the wings of his mercies. Seated on his thrown, he looks deep in the minds of men and silently corrects the evil within their hearts.

Even when no one sees or hears, far away in the caves, in the forests, in deep darkness, even in isolated islands; the Lord see and hears the evils of people and still stays silent.

The Lord, our merciful God has given all evil people, people with filthy minds and spirits days of repentance. The Lord our God has numbered their days of success; don’t envy their success because it will soon end into shame.

The Lord says, “My day is coming when I will take charge of the courts, my judgment will pass and it will be just. I’ll punish the wicked in spirit and mind without mercy; I will show the entire world how filthy their actions are when every one is asleep, in the dark and in isolated places: I the Lord will disgrace them and their families for generations.”

The Lord our God is very kind; he takes time to punish the wicked and disobedient. He loves to see evil people change their ways; he takes pleasure in giving them a second chance. He loves to see them giving up their evil mind, and plans and take up their evil holy intensions of love. Blessed be the name of the Lord among those that love him.

The Lord Loves Young People…

The Lord is kind; yes, the Lord our God is good.

The Lord is truly exceedingly loving; he cares when we know and when we don’t know.

The lord fights our silent battles; he challenges the enemies we don’t know about. He keeps us alive and happy; yes, he keeps us satisfied amidst our enemies.

The Lord loves young people; he loves children very much. He lets children play with anything around them; they eat anything in their sight, but the Lord protects their little stomachs from getting hurt. He gives them a lot of luck to survive in their infanthood days.

Young people, choose to obey the Lord; hide yourselves under the shadow of his guidance and he will give you great honor in your adult days – in the days when you have a lot to speak and little to do; in those day when you strength is limited to keeping you alive.

The Lord has protected nations for many years; he has defended families for generations and he won’t give up on Abraham – yes, he will let his promises to him come to pass, even to the end of the world.

Young people, if the Lord our God can do all that is talked about him, how much more would he do to you if you give up your reckless and ambitious immoral habits, and obey his counsel?

The Lord our God, the creator of heaven and earth is faithful; very faithful to those that love him and obey his counsel, and to those that worship and praise him in their youthful days. Yes, he will reward them with honor at the young and old age.

The Living Blessing…

I am the God of Abraham; the God that makes a hopeless man hopeful; the God that heals a broken heart with happiness; the God that cures the deepest sadness of the heart with my blessing, I am the God of Abraham.

“Behold Abraham, a happy man; the man to whom I have given a living blessing. Haven’t the nation been blessed through you? Haven’t I multiplied you children to an innumerable number, yet I know each one by name? For generations you’ve still pleased me; your children keep your blessing alive through worshipping me as their God.”

“God then, and tell all the people in the pagan kingdoms, even those who worship idles – those helpless images that were crafted by their ancestors as gods. Go and give them hope; tell them about me and let the blessings of your father Abraham grow. I the Lord, am the only true God, and my blessings have life. I am not carried by my people from one hill to another, no, I carry my people even over the seas and take them were I please because the whole world is mine and all that are in it.”

“because I am the Lord of a living blessing, I bless one orange fruits in the world share the blessing, yet they can’t consume it all: I blessed Abraham with one child, but the whole world yesterday, today and tomorrow is blessed through him. Abraham is a happy man; rejoice, O Abraham!”

“Those that keep peace with the children of Abraham shall have peace within their boundaries. I am the only God that defends my blessings forever. Bless the children of Abraham and you’ll share their blessing. Those that love me as their God are confident people: they won’t worry about any thing – they are happy people.”

The seasons of the nations that worship me will be complete; I will give my people good leaders, honest leaders and my blessing will grow.” I am the Lord your God.

A Prayer for Young People…

Our Lord, our God and father!

Have mercy upon us; have mercy upon this age of mankind!

Have mercy upon us in the days when we are most stubborn and most ignorant; in the times when we have high energy and weak minds, and are ruled by our desires.

Have mercy upon us in our young days; in the days when foolishness is our master and our bodies are its faithful and loyal servant. In such days when we have disobeyed you; we have ignored your warnings, teachings and guidance: in those days we our acts are too filthy and they stir you anger, and you still hold back your strong hand from destroying us.

Forgive us our God, because we don’t even know the value of pleasing you; the rewards of doing what is right before you.

Forgive us in the days when we think that life is a gamble; when we doubt your ordained plan for mankind; in the days when we think we are too wise and too strong to make our own way; even in the days when we think we are too wise to reason you out – forgive us I pray.

The Lord our God is not happy with young people that don’t worship him in spirit and truth; he will let them saw seeds of stubbornness, pride, falsehood, disobedience and immorality, and let them reap their fruits in their adult day, yes, they will became useless men and women, shameful and shameless; they will leave not legacy when they are gone.

How I wish young people knew how rewarding it is to love the Lord our God, and do as he commands; how I wish you knew the reward of patience and obedience before the Lord!

Young people, seek to know the lord your God, accept him with all your youthful strength and worship and praise him in spirit and truth; he will reward you with honor, peace, wealth, wisdom and a long healthy life in your old days; you’ll be strong.

Controlled by Human Nature…?

Those with lives controlled by the human nature will yield death in the end; their spirits are already dead. Because being controlled by the human nature results into death, the Lord our God hates them, because he hates death.

Our God hates sin and those that associate with it. “and a person becomes an enemy of God when he is controlled by the human nature; for he does not obey God’s law, and in fact he can not obey it,” say Romans 8:7 TEV.

The Spirit of God gives life to the spirits of men in who he settles and operates, and if a man is controlled by the human nature, his spirit is dead and his body is to perish soon, and this proves further that the Spirit of God in and with him.

Because, when the Spirit of God comes upon us he shapes our way of thinking, attitudes and desires; he takes control of both our body and spirit and the fruits of God grow and manifest in our lives, which include life, boldness, joy, love, peace and material prosperity, not living out physical and spiritual knowledge, wisdom, understanding and righteousness, which are very important to a Christian character.

Those who obey the human nature possess the opposite of all the above, and therefore the scripture says, “Those who obey their human nature can not please God”, just as it also says, “…without faith no one can please God.”

What controls your human nature, and your faith, have a direct relationship. If you human nature is controlled by the human nature then you’ll live like human do; live a little while and die hopeless, but if the Spirit of God controls your human nature, you’ll indeed be a child of God.

Praises to The Lord…

Praise be to the Lord our God forever.

Praises be to the God of all that live on the mountains and hills, in the valleys and the islands.
You O Lord are so good; you’ve blessed the people that live in the deserts with enough cereals (seeds) and fruits!

I will praise you for your goodness; in the isolated places I will talk good about you; yes, with my mouth I will confess the wonderful things you have done for me; I will thank you with my praises and tell you how much I love you.

You, my God are a good God; a God of the near and far future, even the God who has been in the many past generations.

Who can tell the depth of your wisdom and knowledge? Who can challenge you about past events; are you not the only true and holy witness we have about what was? Who can fully understand and describe your plans for man kind?

Every time I think about your good plans for mankind, I see how deep your love for us is, though its bottom I can see. And, every time I try to understand your plans for mankind, my mind can’t go far enough, but I always discover how you love us so much.

You, O Lord are very merciful, very merciful to mankind.
You look at what the evil men do and you spare them because of their descendants who still rest in their bones. You spared our evil and pagan ancestors because you saw true worshippers in their linage after several generations.

With our sins we offend you today knowing and unknowingly, and even without remembering to repent before your anger can fall upon us, you forgive us because you know that tomorrow we’ll love, praise and worship you with a true mind and spirit.

You forgive us in the das of our youth, when the desires of our youthful days cause us to sin, because you know that in our old days it’s you that we’ll serve; worship and teach to our children and grandchildren. Praise the Lord.

The Great Creator…

The Lord our God, our creator is great! Our God is a great creator. He made the fruits of the valleys, mountains, hills, deserts and thick forests very sweet.

He has given them nice flavors; he has made each fruit special from the other by taste, flavor and some even by color. Those from the south are different from those of the north, east and west, and so are those from each of the directions.

The lord our god has blessed them with tastes that bring happiness in the hearts of men.
Men travel from all directions to all directions of the earth to find and taste the fruits our God has made.

Our God is a great creator, yes, he is a great creator.
He has blessed each land with its own blessings; its own animals; its own crops; its own climate; its own customs and language, and we all need one another.

Men travel from all directions to all directions to see what the Lord our God created their, and they come back home to tell of the greatness of the things they have seen, and they speak to their countrymen and conclude by saying, “the Lord our God, creator of heaven and earth is a great creator.”

Because we can’t know about all creature and customs of all people on earth, we can’t fully tell how great a creator our God is.

Because we can taste each fruit and seed to tell the different tastes each has from the other, by taste and land of origin, can fully describe how good our God is.
Some tastes are beyond description like the gory of our God.

My Best Chapter...

As you know, each of us has things he or she prefers from others, and as for me, the bible has this Chapter (Hebrews 2:1-18) that I passionately love. Today, I dedicate to you this Chapter that it will give you the knowledge in which I personally take pleasure.

Hebrews 2:1-18
Hbr 2:1; Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let [them] slip. Hbr 2:2; For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; Hbr

Hbr 2:3; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard [him];

Hbr 2:4; God also bearing [them] witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? Hbr 2:5; For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.

Hbr 2:6; But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? Hbr 2:7; Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:

Hbr 2:8; Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing [that is] not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

Hbr 2:9; But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Hbr 2:10; For it became him, for whom [are] all things, and by whom [are] all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Hbr 2:11; For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified [are] all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, Hbr 2:12; Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

Hbr 2:13; And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. Hbr 2:14; Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Hbr 2:15; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Hbr 2:16; For verily he took not on [him the nature of] angels; but he took on [him] the seed of Abraham.

Hbr 2:17; Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto [his] brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things [pertaining] to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. Hbr 2:18; For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

A Mysterious God…

Open my physical and inner mind, even my spirit; that I’ll be able to accommodate this feeling of ignorance:

How deep is your wisdom? How far will/does your understanding go? Who below the earth, on earth and above the earth, even in the furthest places can tell the junctions where you meet people and bless them?

Who can determine your way before you let those you please know? In your silence, who can tell what you’re thinking about, even what you are planning for your glorious and mysterious creation?

How far does you sight go my God if you can see through the minds and hearts of all people throughout the whole world at all times, and you do it without resting?

You determined the course of everything before time was, and only you can alter anything you have pre-determined. My minute mind can’t think anything worth considering of you; even my spirit melts at your revelations!

Who explains your decisions? Who can understand your ways? Who surely knows the fullness of your mind, O God? Who can give you advice? Who has ever given you anything so that you had to pay it back?

We all plead because you are our creator father, king and master. We all beg because you are our sole provider. Even spirits don’t know enough about you, not even the angels that you’ve put so close to yourself; they are still amazed by your power, your wisdom, your glory, even your love for mankind!

Who can tell any of your secrets; who can really discover any secret you’ve not let them know? Who can individually discover anything about you except it be revealed by your Holy Spirit? Who can escape you eyes? Who can run away from you judgment?

All that you have created has a debt to pay to you; it’s a debt to all your creation to worship you, and you alone as our God.

The Lord God, The Creator of Man…

How I wish all men knew how wonderful the Lord our God is!
How I wish they would understand how much he loves us; even how much he cares about us!

Everything the Lord our God has done is good; they are all beautiful that he has created.
The Lord has given us hunger in our body that we will taste the sweetness of what he has created for us as food.

The Lord has given us many desires that we will continuously adore his creation, and praise him for what he has created; that we will appreciate his creation and find satisfaction and wholeness in it.

He has deepened the desires of the hearts of men that they may see and appreciate the taste and art of his creation.

Who then, is like the Lord our creator?
The Lord has given us thirst that we will taste water; whose taste we can’t fully describe; whose color we can’t tell, yet its satisfaction is so relieving!

Such things like water; the things I can see, feel and taste, yet I can’t fully describe make me get down on my knees, bow my head to the ground and worship you my Lord and creator.
You, our God are very caring; you’ve placed your blessings and provisions in every road in which we walk. You created some men among us with the hearts of angels that they will bless us with the things we need most in our desperate times.

You’ve created men who speak words that can put together a broken spirit and heal a broken heart.

Because you love us so much, you know our silent needs, and you’ll provide even before we are certain: look how we see and breathe even when we’ve forgotten that we do. You’ll teach us responsibility before we discover; you’ll prepare us for the long journeys of life before we can ever think we’ll have them. You go behind us, before us, besides us and above us every where we go, at all times and you never give up. How I wish we fully understood your love for us, or get the right words to worship and praise you with thanksgiving.

Love... Christian Love... Real Love...

Sometimes as a Christian I want to emphasise or teach brothers and sisters in Christ about and when i try to rush through the Bible and find a scripture that says that same as what i want to say; I mean one that agrees with me, on the subject, I don't find any, yet in most cases what I want to stress neither disagrees with the bible nor is referred to anywhere. So many time I wonder if what am going to say will be misunderstood or opposed in one way or another.

As a long time believing Christian, I've learnt a lot about love and character, and this hass greatly influenced my intension in everything I do. Love is deeper than it sounds, wider than any description you can give of what it is, louder than thoughts, dreams, wishes or even words.

Love involves both thoughts and actions; it involves the most hidden thoughts, the intensions you would rather not speak out or show. Loud noise is a disgusting, but loud love is cherished and it's what we all need - everyone embrasses it. How great then is the love of our God? How loud? How sweet? How deep? How mysterious? How about your love for the people you know? Is it deep, loud, sweet, wide or mysterious? Are its intension good? Would it earn you the reward people think you deserve if all your thoughts and intensions were analysed?
Be the best man [and woman] you can be.
Scripture: I Corinthians 13:1-13
{13:1} Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become [as] sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

{13:2} And though I have [the gift of] prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

{13:3} And though I bestow all my goods to feed [the poor,] and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

{13:4} Charity suffereth long, [and] is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

{13:5} Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

{13:6} Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

{13:7} Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

{13:8} Charity never faileth: but whether [there be] prophecies, they shall fail; whether [there be] tongues, they shall cease; whether [there be] knowledge, it shall vanish away.

{13:9} For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

{13:10} But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

{13:11} When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

{13:12} For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

{13:13} And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these [is] charity.

Want to Get Saved…?

Many people that have heard about Jesus Christ and what he does in people’s lives ask themselves, “How can I Jesus Christ in my life like others?”

And the short and bold answer is, “Get saved!” and this short answer is what most believers in Jesus Christ will give you, which is right of course, but below is a short but detailed prayer you should first read without uttering words seven to twelve times for not less than 40 days – your life won’t remain the same, Christ promises.

“Today I confess that I am saved through Jesus Christ the son of God. I believe that he is a son of God and because I believe in him, I am a son of God. I believe that he died for me and all mankind on the cross at Calvary. I believe that he has power over everything on earth and in heaven, even in my life. I am saved today and I won’t give up on what I believe for anything now and forever. Amen”

Now, reading it many times will multiply your confidence in Jesus Christ and what he stands for: read the Bible and you’ll know more about him and God, and even when you don’t understand enough about what you read, just read.

Blessed Be Israel…

Let the might saving and protecting hand of the Lord our God re upon you, Israel.

Let his eyes watch over you day and night, always, and forever.

Let his shadow be your night and the light of his glory be your day.

Let his mercies and love rise upon you like the morning sun. Let his protection cover you fully like the sun set and night.

Let your streets be filled with wealth, satisfaction and happiness.

O, how the Lord loves you so much! His goodness to you will continue until his blessings upon your fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are fully exhausted.

Let your children grow up in the fear of the Lord, yes, the Lord will protect them in the wombs of their mothers, in the streets within Israel, and he will teach them how to worship and praise him to their old day through his spirit.

Listen, O Israel! Don’t defy the Lord’s counsel, don’t turn down his orders! Obey him with all your might: praise and worship him alone, not even the greatest weapons within your gates, the Lord alone is your avenger, defender and protector.

The Lord look beyond the hills, through the valleys and on the mountain tops, and sees your enemies trying out their destructive plans against you and he destroys them with storms and winds before their planned days come to pass. He looks up on the tallest buildings and makes blind the eyes of the enemies that can have put the little and innocent, even you wives on target.

Let his brave spirit of wisdom rest upon your leaders, even upon your young men.

The Lord will make you warriors fearless; he will give them direction and luck in all their battles against your enemies, yes, even his hosts from heaven will fight along with your soldiers. He will protect their lives and give them a life long enough to let them see their children become mighty soldiers, even their beautiful grand children.

Let the Lord bless all your families and investments, and multiply their luck from generation to generation. The Lord your God will use your enemies’ anger as your shield and their evil plans as your arrows; he will destroy them using their own evil intensions on you.

Let the Lord saw seeds of the most precious stones within your boundaries; like a farmer saws grains distance after distance and waters them in the times of drought, let the Lord water your land with oils from the purest oil wells of this planet.

Just as the land and waters are spread wide around this planet, so is the chest of the Lord for you Israel; with his hands wide open, he will always wait for your cries in times of trouble and he will answer; he is waiting to hear you mention the desires of your hearts and he will deliver them with his mighty hand, and when you worship and praise him for all he has done in all your lives, he will take great pleasure in your words and come in your midst.

The day is coming when there will be no bloodshed or communal cries within the boundaries of Israel; in those days the Lord will come down and sit on the holy mountain, and his glory will spread all over the sacred hills, among all people that worship him in all nations. Yes, he will even come down from the holy mountain to the sacred hills below and live among his people because of the joy he will have found in their true praises and worship. In those days, there will be great trembling all over the world because our God is pleased with his people, yet no body will die or be hurt, not even a scratch will come upon their bodies because the Lord our God is happy.

In those holy days, the Lord himself will settle any differences amongst his people; he will be their counselor and judge, yet because of his great mercies and happiness he will teach his people how to love one another, and no body will be destroyed.

O, how lovely those days will be! How peaceful the days of the Lord will be!
Praise the Lord your God, O Israel!

The Complete Knowledge... And Care...

Psalm 139 1-24

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.

{139:1} O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known [me.]

{139:2} Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

{139:3} Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted [with] all my ways.

{139:4} For [there is] not a word in my tongue, [but,] lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.

{139:5} Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.

{139:6} [Such] knowledge [is] too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot [attain] unto it.

{139:7} Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

{139:8} If I ascend up into heaven, thou [art] there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou [art there.

]{139:9} [If] I take the wings of the morning, [and] dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

{139:10} Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

{139:11} If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.

{139:12} Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light [are] both alike [to thee.]

{139:13} For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.

{139:14} I will praise thee; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made: marvellous [are] thy works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well.

{139:15} My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, [and] curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

{139:16} Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all [my members] were written, [which] in continuance were fashioned, when [as yet there was] none of them.

{139:17} How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

{139:18} [If] I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

{139:19} Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.

{139:20} For they speak against thee wickedly, [and] thine enemies take [thy name] in vain.

{139:21} Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

{139:22} I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

{139:23} Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

{139:24} And see if [there be any] wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Letter To Mr. Obama… 19/01/09

Dear Mr. Obama,

I hope you’re doing well. Back here, everyone is very excited about this day, and your achievement as the first black president of the world’s biggest power of modern times and history. Before going for office work; before you can get to busy for any advice for the next four years of hard work in the responsibility of governance, these words may be good to note.

I highly hope that by now you know that people in the world are happy about your achievement and are expecting a lot from you; from your not-yet-tested-policies, which puts you on tension. But don’t worry, those things happen to all leaders who can describe themselves as having feelings like yours; so don’t worry!

It’s also good to always remember that life is full of both achievements and failures, which makes it real and balanced, so don’t put your hopes too high because so will be your disappointments. Be ready to be criticized, and accept it with a free mind because it’ll always happen. You can not please every one, but know your priorities; the safety, growth and strength of the American government, your family and the rest of the world around you.

Don’t also forget that keeping friends close, carefully, helps strong men grow stronger in wisdom, courage and hope. Listen carefully and only speak when it is necessary. For a man of great responsibility like you, it is good to also be a good writer; this will ease your life from stress and depression – it will give you nights full of good sleep and a refreshed health, and good judgments. Seek advice from anyone around you on any public matters; out of what is despised can sometimes come great things: wise words, good judgment and great people – I guess by now you don’t doubt that.

Also remember that you’re a hero, a great man, only if you recognize yourself as an Afro-American, but with an American and global mindset: so be that hero. Open opportunities for the minorities, fight for justice and peace. Anger, fear and excitement make men go wrong; be careful with extreme feelings – take critical judgments only when you’re calm: speak less at all times, it’s good.

Music is a good inspiration and a stress cure, so listen to the kind that keeps your spirit awake with hope. Don’t take heavy burdens on your self; trust in the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth with your life, work and responsibilities. You would rather tell God what you can’t do and he denies you assistance, which I don’t think, than die in silence.

Devote you extra life to God since you have many lives to take care of and He’s the author of life, and He will faithfully guide you. Read the achievements and failures of kings both in the Bible and outside the Bible, as well as the greatest political leaders, and you’ll avoid many mistakes in your life of big responsibilites.

Looking at the black and bright sky will give you a lot of wisdom and peace, as well as looking at other natural things and wild animals, and trying to understand them and you honor God’s art and science; this will help you know and understand that the world is led by God and not men, and so you won’t strain too hard to the extent of loosing your own poor life.

Tell your juniors that it is working together that makes strong teams strong, and listen to their opinions; some levels and positions which are sometimes or many times despised tend to see things more clearly.

A wife is a great strength for any married men, strong or weak; so listen to her, remembering that she’s you-watching-yourself in another body. Don’t despise her, but use the right measures to judge her judgments. Tell her anything and trust her enough, but carefully, remembering that she is a woman and something are heavy for her to work out or accommodate at the same time like men do.

Hard work is not what yields the greatest results, no, it’s good work and good luck. Be wise, think less, rightly and timely, and you’ll be glad on that day when you get out of that office as an achiever. I’ll also be by your side when things go right or wrong, so don’t think you are a lone; we’ll be praying for you all over the world.

Let wisdom, knowledge and understanding be upon you.
Let good and just judgment lead your path.
Let the spirit of the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth rest upon you that you’ll work within his plan, which is the only sure plan that succeeds. Let peace, happiness, prosperity, good health and long life be yours in the name of the holy and true Lord, and Leader of leaders.

Yours in service,

ISIKO Peace John

Trouble, Trouble and More Trouble World…!

While walking on the street the other day, I heard a song playing in one of the shops at loud volume. This gospel musician (a lady) was singing out her heart, asking God to protect her from her enemies, and to bless her and ashame them. The song really had a good rhythm you would easily love and the message was clear.

Today I have a problem with the way people (some, but many) think. People will easily talk about their insecurities than securities; they’ll talk about more about their problems than blessings; they’ll talk more their enemies than friends!

It’s had to find a person (even a musician) asking God to bless his friends, but almost every musician has a song about his enemies, or at least a line in one of his most popular songs. Should we say they have more enemies than friends? Or should we say enemies inspire people than friends? If it is true, then they are the wrong people, they do more “wrongs” than “goods”.

You’ll wake up in the morning and turn on the TV to see what happened in the world while you were asleep, and to my surprise, every time I do this, I’ll see and hear about the riot or demonstration in one European or Asian countries a bomb blast and the degree of its effects in one of the chaotic Arab countries.

I stopped watching the news broad casts in the morning just to protect my grateful morning attitude. You’ll easily hear about a fraud made by one of the top official of a globally recognized organization or strong government, but it is not easy to see any of those good official, who have served the world unselfishly, faithfully and with a devoted attitude being thanked, praised or even recognized in the morning news; they can only be brought to the screen when commenting on bad things (suspicions), and even still, little is talked about their deeds, only titles are given – so unfair!!!

Why do we have to talk (most) about the bad side of life and almost completely live out the good things happening in our world? The very picture of this world you’ll get when you watch the morning news will make the word seem the worst place man can live; everything in the news is generally bad news, many times magnified than its real size. Try it the next morning, even for a week, and you’ll agree with me.

I wish one day the world’s most popular broadcasting bodies will initiate a program were people thank God or fellow me for the good things they are experiencing; were people talk about their achievements and hoe grateful they are; were people thank the world superpowers, World Bank, the United Nations, The European Union, Global Fund, USAID, the Common Wealth and more for the good things they have done for the world and it’s inhabitants, especially the human race. I think this will help us (people) look at the world with a better perspective, with a more grateful attitude, not seeing it as a trouble, trouble and more trouble world every morning, day evening and night.

My appreciation goes to all people, organizations and governments that have played a big/small role, but contributed towards making this world a better habitat for man and the rest of the creatures, especially the United Nations and the Geographers like National Geography, Wild Life Authority, Animal planet and more of the kind. Let my good God bless you endlessly and abundantly for making this world a better place for us.

*Organizations, people and governments spend Billions and Trillions of different currencies to make this world a better place, but nobody, actually a few people are grateful for this.

The Strength Of the God Of Elijah...

First Kings 18:1-46

Elijah and Obadiah
1- After a long time, in the third year, the word of the LORD came to Elijah: “Go and present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the land.”
2- So Elijah went to present himself to Ahab. Now the famine was severe in Samaria, 3- and Ahab had summoned Obadiah, who was in charge of his palace. (Obadiah was a devout believer in the LORD. 4- While Jezebel was killing off the LORD’s prophets, Obadiah had taken a hundred prophets and hidden them in two caves, fifty in each, and had supplied them with food and water.) 5- Ahab had said to Obadiah, “Go through the land to all the springs and valleys. Maybe we can find some grass to keep the horses and mules alive so we will not have to kill any of our animals.”

6- So they divided the land they were to cover, Ahab going in one direction and Obadiah in another. 7- As Obadiah was walking along, Elijah met him. Obadiah recognized him, bowed down to the ground, and said, “Is it really you, my lord Elijah?”
8- “Yes,” he replied. “Go tell your master, ‘Elijah is here.’ ” 9- “What have I done wrong,” asked Obadiah, “that you are handing your servant over to Ahab to be put to death? 10- As surely as the LORD your God lives, there is not a nation or kingdom where my master has not sent someone to look for you. And whenever a nation or kingdom claimed you were not there, he made them swear they could not find you. 11But now you tell me to go to my master and say, ‘Elijah is here.’ 12- I don’t know where the Spirit of the LORD may carry you when I leave you. If I go and tell Ahab and he doesn’t find you, he will kill me. Yet I your servant have worshiped the LORD since my youth.
13- Haven’t you heard, my lord, what I did while Jezebel was killing the prophets of the LORD? I hid a hundred of the LORD’s prophets in two caves, fifty in each, and supplied them with food and water. 14- And now you tell me to go to my master and say, ‘Elijah is here.’ He will kill me!”
15- Elijah said, “As the LORD Almighty lives, whom I serve, I will surely present myself to Ahab today.”

Elijah on Mount Carmel
16- So Obadiah went to meet Ahab and told him, and Ahab went to meet Elijah. 17- When he saw Elijah, he said to him, “Is that you, you troubler of Israel?” 18- “I have not made trouble for Israel,” Elijah replied. “But you and your father’s family have. You have abandoned the LORD’s commands and have followed the Baals. 19- Now summon the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel. And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”
20- So Ahab sent word throughout all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel.
21- Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.” But the people said nothing.
22- Then Elijah said to them, “I am the only one of the LORD’s prophets left, but Baal has four hundred and fifty prophets.
23- Get two bulls for us. Let Baal’s prophets choose one for themselves, and let them cut it into pieces and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. I will prepare the other bull and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. 24- Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the LORD. The god who answers by fire—he is God.” Then all the people said, “What you say is good.” 25- Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since there are so many of you. Call on the name of your god, but do not light the fire.” 26So they took the bull given them and prepared it. Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. “Baal, answer us!” they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made.
27- At noon Elijah began to taunt them. “Shout louder!” he said. “Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened.” 28- So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed. 29- Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.
30- Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the LORD, which had been torn down. 31- Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the LORD had come, saying, “Your name shall be Israel.” 32- With the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs a of seed. 33- He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them, “Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood.”
34-“Do it again,” he said, and they did it again. “Do it a third time,” he ordered, and they did it the third time. 35- The water ran down around the altar and even filled the trench. 36- At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “LORD, the God of
Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. 37- Answer me, LORD, answer me, so these people will know that you, LORD, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”
38- Then the fire of the LORD fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench. 39- When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The LORD—he is God! The LORD—he is God!” 40- Then Elijah commanded them, “Seize the prophets of Baal. Don’t let anyone get away!” They seized them, and Elijah had them brought down to the Kishon Valley and slaughtered there. 41- And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” 42- So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees.
43- “Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked. “There is nothing there,” he said. Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.” 44- The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” So Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’ ” 45- Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain came on and Ahab rode off to Jezreel.
46- The power of the LORD came on Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel.

Lessons:
1) Stand for your faith
2) Don't let evil live with good; eliminate it!
3) If you doubt what is right or worng, put it to the test; time will sort it out.
4) Every time you eliminate evil from your life (mind) blessings flood in.
There are more lessons to learn from this passage than these, meditate on it and you'll find them.

Hbr 2:2; For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

Hbr 2:3; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard [him];
Hbr 2:4; God also bearing [them] witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

Hbr 2:11; For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified [are] all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Hbr 2:12; Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

Hbr 2:13; And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

Hbr 2:14; Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

The Death Of Saul… The Rise of King DAVID…

2 Samuel 1: ...27

{1:1} Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag;

{1:2} It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and [so] it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.

{1:3} And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped.

{1:4} And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.

{1:5} And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead?

{1:6} And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.

{1:7} And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here [am] I.

{1:8} And he said unto me, Who [art] thou? And I answered him, I [am] an Amalekite.

{1:9} And he said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life [is] yet whole in me.

{1:10} So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that [was] upon his head, and the bracelet that [was] on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.

{1:11} Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that [were] with him:

{1:12} And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword.

{1:13} And David said unto the young man that told him,
Whence [art] thou? And he answered, I [am] the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.

{1:14} And David said unto him,
How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to
destroy the LORD’S anointed?

{1:15} And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, [and] fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.

{1:16} And David said unto him, Thy blood [be] upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD’S anointed.

{1:17} And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:

{1:18} (Also he bade them teach the children of Judah [the use of] the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.)

{1:19} The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!

{1:20} Tell [it] not in Gath, publish [it] not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.

{1:21} Ye mountains of Gilboa, [let there be] no dew, neither [let there be] rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, [as though he had] not [been] anointed with oil.

{1:22}
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.

{1:23} Saul and Jonathan [were] lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.

{1:24} Ye daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet, with [other] delights, who put on ornaments of gold upon your apparel.

{1:25} How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, [thou
wast] slain in thine high places.

{1:26} I am distressed for
thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.

{1:27} How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!

LESSONS IN THIS PASSAGE

  1. Always be have the right answers close
  2. Be understanding
  3. Know what is right to do
  4. Have great love, pride and compassion for you Government

Polite Speech...

Did you know that polite speech can earn you what neither money nor power or even knowledge won't earn you. there is always favor for a man that has a polite character, whose speech is polite.

You see friends, it cost you nothing to speak politely, except a simple, gentle and understanding voice. Gentleness is a character of good understanding of love. Those who understand what love means, I mean true love, have nothing to do with rude speech: they know that is stirs anger and breeds hatred.

Why not bless a soul tody with a gentle speech. What if you said or replied with a "please" instead of anything else rude? What if you apologized instead of "rolling off" like a stone; instead of moving away like you have no feelings? Wouldn't someone else's character change for Christ's sake?

Don't you think that would bless more souls than you think? Dress you life with a good character, a good speech.

Making A Home: Important Things…

Every complete home as four arts that should be clearly noticed or identified; -

1) the bedroom

2) the kitchen

3) the toilet

4) the sitting area

Each of these is important, and for a home to be a home a complete home, you have to have them. They all don’t have to be under one roof, no, but they need to be there, somewhere.

Identifying these parts of your home will make you have easy planning, time and a better development strategy.

One day a friend, who was still staying his parents’ home and was about to move to is own home asked me what was needed for a home to be a home, and what he would have to maintain ad their supplies. I told home that all he had to do was to identify those given parts above, and all identify things that have to be added or changed for time to time for whatever reasons.

The Bedroom; It’s the most important part of every home. You would rather have everything else missing under your roof, but not your bed. A lot depends on your bedroom; your health especially and the hygiene to show elsewhere. A bedroom is the most rarely changed part of the home; you can sleep on the same mattress for years, same bed for years, and same pillows for years and same bed sheets for months, and it’s okay. Such things don’t apply everywhere else especially in the kitchen and the sitting area.

The Kitchen; You’ve got to clean it up! I personally hate to use the same plates and glasses for years. You’ve got to refill those foodstuffs and spices from time to time… this involves trying new ones from time to time to maintain your appetite; pleasure in eating.

The Toilet; Were all rubbish goes must be clean. This will help you avoid a lot of diseases and discomforts. A clean toilet is just as important as a clean kitchen, bedroom and sitting area; they’ll all cause great discomfort if not worked on well. Gentle scents and clean and sufficient utilities in the toilet have made me name it the second most interesting part of the house, next to the kitchen. I can stay in the kitchen for hours and I don’t miss the bedroom or sitting area, and I love to take enough time in a clean toilet… my brain works so well in their, I also feel at ease.

The Sitting Area; This is the most impressive part of every good home just like clothings on your body. Neat and smart clothings define a lot about your like a neat and smart sitting area in your home. I promise you that you’ll always hate to come home early enough if your sitting area is shabby; such discomfort will keep you out late in the night.

Work on your home; how else can you make the world a better place without making your home a better place for you?

Nation of God; Israel…

Israel, O Israel!
You’re the nation the Lord God chose as his own; a nation through whom all the world would know, accept and understand him. Do not be troubled, the Lord is on your side. He will cast away your fears, rub and dry your tears and give you the peace you’ve always desired, a peace in which you’ll praise his name for ever.

The lord will return every land that belonged to your fore fathers, he will restore all the fallen cities within you, gather all the properties that were taken from you and return them to the city of David were he will multiply them with the might of his hand and divide them amongst the tribe leaders of his people.

Rejoice, O Israel!
The Lord your God loves you, he hates to see your enemies laugh, he hate to hear their hateful words, he hates to see the evil in their hearts; he will fight for you, yes, he will protect you and your children. He will bless you friends and curse your enemies. He will curse your enemies and make them dumb; they will neither speak right nor hear right, even the heart and mind will be filled with shameful madness.

Rejoice you children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, for the Lord your God is still holding on to the covenants, vows and promises he made with/to you fore fathers. He won’t let any generation go without his blessings. He will love you, protect you and multiply everything you have, whether in the land he gave your father Abraham or in the nations.

The lord will travel with you to the nations and back home, blessing you all the way. He will bless all that stand with you and curse all that have hidden and silent intentions of breaking your happiness and peace. The Lord will give a good life to your little children; he will protect them and give them a complete life. They will look at their fore fathers and ancestors and see how merciful, loving and kind the Lord has been to Israel, even how mightily he has manifested himself through the ages. Continuously praise the Lord O Israel; he loves you and will always love you.

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord our God, master of the nations and all that are in them. Praise the Lord O Israel, praise the Lord!

Israel, You Have Friends…

A lot has troubled you; a lot has kept you awake all night, worried about your own life, existence and the safety of all that you own. There is war on every side around you; you have enemies all around you cursing every good thing in you hands – they are always praying that the worst happens to you at all times; that you’ll have no peace or happiness; that even your little children will grow up in terror and fear, but don’t get worried.

Rejoice today, rejoice O Israel! The Lord your God has given you good neighbors, though not so close to you, they are always praying for you, wishing you all the best and more that all strong nations should have.

The Lord has given you friends in the lands close and far who share all your burdens with you, who won’t rest their tongues before the Lord until they see a smile on your face. You’re not alone in this world; don’t feel like an orphan, you’re not a stranger in this world; this world is yours because the Lord your God owns every Land, air and water on, in and under it, even beyond it.

Sleep enough tonight; someone else has taken on the burden of praying for you; they are in the lands far away pleading your case, even your burden.

Eat enough today, drink and feel your stomach, don’t cry even today, don’t look sad today; today is a day for you to be happy, the Lord’s hand is with you and you’re safe among your enemies. Go and visit the holy and sacred places, the places of prayer and worship and praise the Lord your God. Yes, rejoice in the presence of the Lord because he is there among you.
