Many times we've struggled in our lives trying to "make it" in the city, not knowing what kind of things we should observe to see us through, but this time I'll point out some few things you should put at your finger tips while you struggles to see yourself through in the city...
These things are simple, some of them we know but we don't know how much they apply in our daily life in the city, or we think they are merely life principles, but in town, those who have them lead the way.
So, here they are;
1) Make sure you are alive, and you stay alive, healthy and breathing.
2) Make as many friends as possible, and try had not to loose any.
3) Take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way without letting any escape your trap. So, trap some opportunities if you can.
4) Be patient, rushing is good if you're on the right truck, but but it may also lead you off truck; it's good to take your time because with this, a complete analysis of everything will surely happen. You'll see every opportunity in every single step you take or in every ventrue you undertake.
5) Learn everything that comes your way, and never forget to ask yourself the question "how does it profit me?" every time you're learning a new lesson, but no lesson is useless.
6) Take the example of every man's success in the city, and don't neglect any failures; learn from them and find a way of avoiding each of them, or even the effects they have on you if you undertake similar challenges.
7) Do things that won’t affect you in the future, in fact, avoid such things. You need to know that every minute we spend doing something is a minute spent building our history, and every thing we do has an effects on our history negatively or positively. Therefore, just be sure that everything you do will bring you either an opportunity or advantage in future, especially as people reflect on your history. Dont let any dirt into your history!
8) Minimize expenses as much as possible. Avoid unnecessary expenses, and save as much as possible for investment.
9) Love to know about new investment opportunities even when you do not have money, and never stop believing that it's possible for you to make an excellent investment, even when you do not have an opportunity yet; this will keep you thinking all your life, and someday, I assure you, you’ll make it.
10) Respect authorities. These include both government and elders. This will give you a lot of approvals in many undertaking that may lead you to heights, therefore, it's a must do.
11) Always stay in contact with people from who you expect constant or continuous opportunities of leading you a step a head. In fact, always be available to them and do it whatever the means.
12) Though not pointed out first, it's very important to know that lies are not a good characteristic for a successful man. A liar will never have peace no matter how successful he or she may be, so avoid lying because this won't give you the kind of pleasures you want from success though it may take you there.
15) Treasure all your achievements, big or small. And, value all your efforts no matter how little. This will encourage you to work even harder and give you the power to influence the people around you into believing in you and the results of your efforts.
Finally, always remember that patience has two important components, that is, hope and determination, and you can't succeed with out them.
