A Prayer for Young People…

Our Lord, our God and father!

Have mercy upon us; have mercy upon this age of mankind!

Have mercy upon us in the days when we are most stubborn and most ignorant; in the times when we have high energy and weak minds, and are ruled by our desires.

Have mercy upon us in our young days; in the days when foolishness is our master and our bodies are its faithful and loyal servant. In such days when we have disobeyed you; we have ignored your warnings, teachings and guidance: in those days we our acts are too filthy and they stir you anger, and you still hold back your strong hand from destroying us.

Forgive us our God, because we don’t even know the value of pleasing you; the rewards of doing what is right before you.

Forgive us in the days when we think that life is a gamble; when we doubt your ordained plan for mankind; in the days when we think we are too wise and too strong to make our own way; even in the days when we think we are too wise to reason you out – forgive us I pray.

The Lord our God is not happy with young people that don’t worship him in spirit and truth; he will let them saw seeds of stubbornness, pride, falsehood, disobedience and immorality, and let them reap their fruits in their adult day, yes, they will became useless men and women, shameful and shameless; they will leave not legacy when they are gone.

How I wish young people knew how rewarding it is to love the Lord our God, and do as he commands; how I wish you knew the reward of patience and obedience before the Lord!

Young people, seek to know the lord your God, accept him with all your youthful strength and worship and praise him in spirit and truth; he will reward you with honor, peace, wealth, wisdom and a long healthy life in your old days; you’ll be strong.

Love... Christian Love... Real Love...

Sometimes as a Christian I want to emphasise or teach brothers and sisters in Christ about and when i try to rush through the Bible and find a scripture that says that same as what i want to say; I mean one that agrees with me, on the subject, I don't find any, yet in most cases what I want to stress neither disagrees with the bible nor is referred to anywhere. So many time I wonder if what am going to say will be misunderstood or opposed in one way or another.

As a long time believing Christian, I've learnt a lot about love and character, and this hass greatly influenced my intension in everything I do. Love is deeper than it sounds, wider than any description you can give of what it is, louder than thoughts, dreams, wishes or even words.

Love involves both thoughts and actions; it involves the most hidden thoughts, the intensions you would rather not speak out or show. Loud noise is a disgusting, but loud love is cherished and it's what we all need - everyone embrasses it. How great then is the love of our God? How loud? How sweet? How deep? How mysterious? How about your love for the people you know? Is it deep, loud, sweet, wide or mysterious? Are its intension good? Would it earn you the reward people think you deserve if all your thoughts and intensions were analysed?
Be the best man [and woman] you can be.
Scripture: I Corinthians 13:1-13
{13:1} Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become [as] sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

{13:2} And though I have [the gift of] prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

{13:3} And though I bestow all my goods to feed [the poor,] and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

{13:4} Charity suffereth long, [and] is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

{13:5} Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

{13:6} Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

{13:7} Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

{13:8} Charity never faileth: but whether [there be] prophecies, they shall fail; whether [there be] tongues, they shall cease; whether [there be] knowledge, it shall vanish away.

{13:9} For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

{13:10} But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

{13:11} When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

{13:12} For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

{13:13} And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these [is] charity.

All Because Two People Fell In Love...

It's so funny how life can have two standards, both affecting us, and we still call it beautiful. It's too mysterious how one man and woman with no idea about each other's existence wake up one morning set for their life duties and to each other's surprise (they) meet, fall in love, feel so attached to each other; as if life don't mean anything before, as if they never lived before they met.
One morning you wake up, look through the window and you see a neighbors daughter (about 5 years) decorating her head with flowers in their beautiful flower garden; for an hour of observation, you forget all the troubles in this world and call it the most beautiful place for souls of men.
One evening you take a walk to the football pitch and while seated looking at people play, you notice a father and son enjoying their evening the ball; the little man kicks and falls down, runs and falls down, but will still do it again, laughing with great pleasure. Soon you begin to speak to yourself, "Ooh, how life would be so unpleasant without love... see how it's fruits yeild great pleasure..."
A few months later you meet a stranger whose heart is the gig-saw piece that will make your life complete, and from that day everything looks like it will never end; the smiles, the touches, the fevers... everything, so good, so sweet, so beautiful! Then comes a baby, a boy or girl, and the smiles begin all over again... a new image is part of you... and life begins all over again.
You begin to look at the world in a beautiful and satisfying perspective. All things began like this... and though the worst is still seen among men, it doesn't matter when the end is beautiful... The whole world is feel with beautiful people, beautiful places of pleasure and great hope... all beause two people fell in love.

IN Real Words:

I just want to tell you

Everything you're, to me...

And all the things you mean, to me...

When I find myself believing there's no place to go

When I feel the loneliness inside my heart...

Your the answer to my prayer

And you with me everywhere

Your my angel, miracle, your all I need to know...

To night...

Love, Love, Love... O Love...

Love, Love, Love... O Love...

What other name can we give you?
Sweeter than milk and honey,
You test fresher than passions from the Mountains of the Moon.
More obsessive than wine, even to the most noblest of men.

Kings risk their kingdoms to have you.
Princes risk their future throwns and rich territories;
Territories with the finest oil, silver, gold and diamonds just to taste you.
Those that have tested your sweetness have tasted from the
fountains of everlasting life.

Those who are drunk of you are drunk of the eternal satisfaction,
peace and happiness.
They are drunk of the finest wine, and their satisfaction is eternal.

Love, Love, Love... O Love...

What is your alternative O love?
Who is your twin sweet love?
What is sweet as you?
Even philosophers will choose you and leave honor,
knowledge and riches.

Love, Love, Love... O Love...

Is it you that we feel when we dream while in
the fields of the most beautiful and sweet smelling of flowers?
No, you are better than that;
The peace you give, the eternal happiness you create...
It's all amazing...
It all assures me that life after death is real.

Love, Love, Love... O Love...

Let me have you... Let me feel you...
Let me taste what you have that the strongest,
richest, wisest, most honorable and heroes of this world price about you.
Let me sleep in you and wakeup in you.
Let me feel you while am awake, asleep, even when I wake up again...
Let me taste the obsession you create in both men and women.
Am sure it will conquer my pessimism...

*Oooh...
What a poem...!
I guess you loved it...
Love is a sweet thing...
So mysterious eeh...!
I hope you're enjoying it too...

What About Age?

Many times in real life we take age as a prime factor; something that should even determine the people we are supposed to be happy with. One time, about 8 years back I read in a beauty magazine and there was this 50years old wrestler who when asked about her age and career said "age is just a number" and since then, this has always rang in my mind every time I here someone comment about age or lay limits to certain ages.

Now with our African cultural ideology, many of our natives believe that for a young man to marry he has to be older than the lady, and with certain families, it's an abomination for a young man to marry a lady older than him, even for as little as five years!

Unlike in the past, today I have a different attitude towards age, in fact, a positive attitude. And due to this, my advice for young men out there is that they should just go on with anyone they think can make them happy, no matter the age.

If you've been [or you’re]married and you've faced some challenges in the relationship(s) you've been in or you are in, then you're a good witness to this.
And you know that if I ask that "what has age got to do with a relationship?

Or, what has happiness got to do with age? And I say 'Nothing' then it’s true."

At the end of the day, all I need is a true heart to enter into partnership with our heart, a honest and open mind to rely on, or someone with a good personality or a good character and not a younger Lady or older man; not a lady five years or more young than me or a man five or ten years older than you...

I asked my friends these questions in a good discussion, "what has maturity or responsibility got to do with got to do with age? Or what has a good character got to do with age?" And all looked blue after contemplating about the issue.
And I wondered why we had been talking for a long time…

Let's live up to our dreams and desires, and not numbers.
At the end of the day, all that matters is happiness, safety and satisfaction, and not age.

Fears.... And Desires

Yah, It's true that not many would surely want to be alone if there was an insurance of happiness in any relationship they are deeply willing to engage in, but many have run away from any commitments in terms of relationships due to fears, sometimes out of experience and sometimes due to the testimonies other people give about relationships.

I know if you've really lived in an area where people live a "real life", I mean in a "normal society", a society with both good and evil, then you automatically know that things about relationships have not similarity with gravity on earth. While the gravity rate on earth is constant, relationships paces change day after day... I mean, today you're happy and tomorrow you're swearing to kill each other...

This is the way we live today...
But it's not a life style we are proud of, and we know it... because what we desire has a lot to do with happiness, peace and success, not this stress and depression we feel day after day...

"Ifs" of Love

If u love me,
Then you'll apreciate me;
And if you appreciate me,
Then you will respect me;
And if you respect me,
Then you acknolegde all my efforts;
And if you acknoledge all my efforts,
Then it's true that you love me...

For there is no love without respect,
And there's no respect that is not thankful...
This is what we all expect from those that love us.
